Compute

Words can be demons hiding what we know
Computer power is what we used to talk about
Every third word we need more compute
They sell to each other hoping to create super intelligence

It would not work if they told investors the truth
They want more computer power than anyone
Compute is as cute as whatever muse you have
We knew proteins folded

We needed more computer power to figure out how
We think there is a structure to the primes
All this compute and nothing
The flaws in our reasoning are in the training data

I teach small children and I dream of prime numbers
One of them will see it
Either the end of science
Or our new road

There is a structure or there is not
Either case equally satisfying
Sustainability an Angel word

What we could have done is so much more than what we did.  The world had seemed to be going in a direction.  People were proclaiming the end of history.  In New York something is true as long as you can sustain it.  Wolves have tailored sheep's clothes. What kind of record to set The most people wearing the same hat More people have wore more hats but not the same I am sure Time square NYC NYE 2025 The red necks come to mind The forgotten ones At times more black climbing from their mines People are becoming less interesting The familiar complaint of the youth is indictment the old People used to be better There were more holidays Yet they did more thing Things were also worse You do not have to live in the snow belt You do not have to live on the flood plain We can make better plans None have been good enough to get us beyond here In some countries after the New Year they get ready for the next Old calendars still remembered for various reasons The end result more holidays as May 1rst often joins to Easter holiday In some countries you can see the holiday in the economic data Like those who make most of their money in a short time The more money modern humans make it seems the less the holidays
