What we could have done is so much more than what we did.  The world had seemed to be going in a direction.  People were proclaiming the end of history.  In New York something is true as long as you can sustain it.  Wolves have tailored sheep's clothes. The end of the cold war is the first thing you want to know about us.  We had seen brinkmanship,  Chicken is not a game anyone with sense will play, but at some point the destructive capacity of people became greater than our planet.  In 1980 we started to believe in miracles that didn't matter.  There were two camps and ours was better financed.
